I worked with Michael for two years at the AAA School of Advertising in Cape Town. He was in the process of completing his studies for a BA in Creative Brand Communication, specialising in Art Direction.
Michael proved to be a diligent and enthusiastic student, who always worked hard and was willing to accept guidance. He immersed himself in every facet of the college, maximising his impressively diverse collection of skills in a range of different portfolios. In addition to his conceptual and design abilities, Michael is also a talented photographer and has an insightful understanding of technology.
During his time at AAA, Michael made a significant contribution towards the launch of a Social Media Committee for the school’s Cape Town campus. He eventually became an invaluable member of the team and I enjoyed working with him in this capacity. Michael not only took on the role of photographer and designer but also demonstrated exceptional initiative in managing and developing content for our various social media channels.
I believe Michael is a very capable art director and is certain to add value to any agency or organisation. I am pleased to have this opportunity to offer him a recommendation and wish him well with any future projects or placements.
